Alafia was a studio project led by Philip Nikwé, bringing together musicians from Benin, Cameroon, Guadeloupe, France & The US. A synthesis between the Mina lyrics, afro-beat rhythms, synth leads, swirling horn driven funk, boogie sensibilities, b-boy scratches and talk box effects.
